Music Projects

A collection of song's made in late August 2017 for a solo show. It was preformed using live hardware which consisted of a microkorg, DSI tetra, and an 808/909 clone. I sequenced all the synths with a midi interface and ableton. Recorded in one session a few days after the performance.
This piece is a constraint based work where I limited myself to only using sounds I could create with my body. Appropriately titled body groove this piece creates dissociations between how our bodies are normally heard.
Bass Performance for Midi was a performance designed to trigger harmony, melody and rhythm from the input of a bass in realtime. It was created using Max/MSP to analyze bass frequency then trigger varying midi sequences. Those triggered sequences were then sent to a microkorg, DSI tetra, and 808/909 clone. Then I preformed the patch directly into a tape machine and mixed the recording to taste.
